Community Level Design of a Solid Waste Minimization Program

This research is about designing a solid waste management program that utilizes the segregation at the source, recycling, re-use and composting or simply adapting the hierarchy of solid waste management.

This research work is focused on the community level only because the researcher firmly believes that the enormous production of solid waste started at the source...pertaining to the community wherein it housed the households or the dwellings of the people. She also believes that a problem can be solved only by locating the source and from there suppressing it.
