Cuansing, Eduardo
Short Biography
Eduardo "Ed" Cuansing is currently a
physics graduate student and teaching assistant at the Department
of Physics, Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. During his
time away from teaching undergraduate science and engineering students,
he does research on critical phenomena, percolation theory and computational
physics. The main focus of his current research is on exploring
the possibility of applying percolation theory to the metal-insulator
transition problem. He is also into creating massively parallel
programs to simulate physical systems.
Ed received his Bachelor's degree in Physics (cum
laude) from the National Institute of Physics, University of the
Philippines. He recently received his Master's degree in Physics
(with a specialization in Computational Science) from Purdue University.
