Fajardo, Ferdinand
Ferdinand Fajardo is an assistant professor in
the Department of Chemistry, De Lasalle University, Philippines.
His field of expertise is on applied (environmental) biochemistry
and agronomy (weed science). Under the Japanese Ministry of Education
(Monbusho) scholarship, Ferdinand Fajardo obtained his Doctor of
Philosophy in Agricultural Science, with major in Applied Biochemistry,
in 2000 and his Master of Science in Agricultural Sciences in 1997.
Both degrees were obtained in Tsukuba University, Japan. He finished
his bachelor's degree in agriculture, with major in agronomy, in
the University of the Philippines Los Baños in 1982. For
his doctoral dissertation, he studied the dissipation of acetanilide
and sulfonyl urea compounds under lowland field condition. He is
a member of the Weed Science Society of the Philippines since 1984,
the Weed Science Society of Japan since 1994, and the Pesticide
Science Society of Japan since 1995.
