Gapud, Albert

Albert Gapud is currently the Division Head of the Physics Division, Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Physics, in the University of the Philippines at Los Baños (UPLB). He received his PhD in Physics from the University of Kansas in May 1999, and his B.S. in Physics (cum laude) in the same university in 1989. Dr. Gapud was a recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship from August 1994 to July 1999. His research interests include transport properties of high-temperature superconductors (HTSCs), flux dynamics and magnetic phases of HTSCs, synthesis and characterization of HTSC bulk and film, as well as irradiation effects in HTSCs.
