Description of Research
My research activities have concentrated on two
major problem areas, namely the development of forest management
models for planning and decision making, and the development of
efficient techniques for wood processing and utilization. Another
important research area which I have recently been involved with
is Geographic Information Systems (GIS). My research in this area
has primarily involved enhancing the roles and functionalities of
GIS by strengthening its modeling capabilities.
